MIKADA Engineering and Trading P.L.C was established in 2010 in line with the Ethiopian business law and licensed as a GC 1 general construction firm under the Ministry of Urban Development and Construction to execute construction of roads, bridges, buildings, waterworks and similar works to a broad range of commercial and industrial clients throughout Ethiopia and beyond. Accordingly, the company has so far successfully completed most of its contracts by substantially meeting expectations of clients.

The company is structured and organized in such a way that enables it to efficiently and effectively handle large scale construction projects. To this end, the company’s operations are managed by senior professionals with proven several years of practical experience in the business and construction industry.

As to capability of construction equipment, the company owns different equipment and plants ranging from heavy machineries (plants) to light vehicles which are capable to function in different weather conditions and topographies. Apart from this, the company has built substantial financial capacity that makes it reliable for executing within agreed ambits of quality, time and price in construction contracts.

To scale-up its productivity and ascertain sustainable competitive advantage in the existing local and world economy, the company has recently made significant paradigm shift by employing contemporary game changers like Kaizen, 

Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015), and Lean Construction. In addition to this, to realize a concerted effort and commitment at both the head office and project sites, all the company’s strategic and operational engagements are monitored against a well communicated five-year strategic plan.
